Authorized Reseller and Brand Protection Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
The short version: MIJU Beauty is the exclusive or official U.S. distributor for the brands we carry. To protect shoppers and the brands, our wholesale customers must sell products only in their original U.S. packaging, follow each brand's channel and marketplace rules (ask us before listing on Amazon or any marketplace), and follow minimum advertised prices where a brand requires them. Accounts that break these rules may be suspended or closed. Please report suspected counterfeit or gray-market products to us.
Why this policy matters
Products we distribute are imported for the U.S. market with English labeling intended to meet U.S. requirements, and they move through a controlled supply chain from the brand to MIJU to authorized retailers. Products diverted from other countries ("gray-market" goods) or counterfeits may have foreign-language or incomplete labeling, different formulas, unknown storage history, or expired dates, and may not include the U.S. label information, warnings, or company contact details that customers rely on. That can put shoppers at risk and harm the brands and the retailers who sell genuine products.
Who is an authorized reseller
An authorized reseller is a business with an approved, active MIJU wholesale account (or an approved Faire retailer relationship) that buys products from MIJU or another source the brand has authorized, and follows this policy. Approval is specific to your business and the channels you told us about during verification. Authorization cannot be transferred, and an authorized reseller may not appoint sub-distributors or sell to other resellers without our written approval.
Reseller requirements
- Original packaging only. Sell products only in their original, unopened, unaltered packaging. Do not repackage, relabel, re-bundle in a way that hides the label, decant, or sell samples or testers as retail items.
- Do not alter labels or codes. Do not remove, cover, or alter labels, warnings, ingredient lists, batch or lot codes, expiration dates, barcodes, or holograms.
- Proper storage and handling. Store products as directed, away from extreme heat and direct sunlight, and do not sell expired, damaged, or tampered products.
- Brand channel rules. Some brands sell through their own official stores on Amazon or other marketplaces, and some limit sales by channel or country (for example, specific requirements for Mexico). You must follow the channel, marketplace, and territory rules we share with you for each brand. Ask us before listing any product on Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, TikTok Shop, or any other online marketplace.
- Minimum advertised price (MAP). Where a brand has a MAP or pricing policy, you must follow it in all advertising and online listings. We will share applicable brand policies with you.
- Accurate listings. Use accurate product names, images, and descriptions. Do not make claims that are not on the product label or approved by the brand, including medical or drug claims.
- Brand names and images. You may use brand names, logos, and product images only to identify and sell genuine products bought from authorized sources, and only as permitted by the brand. Do not suggest you are the brand, its official store, or its distributor.
- Cooperation. Respond to our reasonable requests for information about your sales channels and listings, and cooperate with product recalls, withdrawals, and safety reports.
Consequences
If we believe an account has violated this policy, we may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, take one or more of these steps: ask you to correct or remove listings; suspend shipments or cancel open orders; remove promotional pricing or other benefits; close the account; share relevant account and listing information with the affected brand; and pursue other remedies available to us or the brand. This policy does not restrict anyone's lawful resale rights beyond what applicable law permits; it sets the conditions of our wholesale relationship.
Report counterfeit or gray-market products
If you see products from brands we distribute that appear counterfeit, have non-English or missing U.S. labeling, appear expired or tampered with, or are sold through unauthorized channels, please tell us. Include the seller name, a link or location, photos of the product and label, and the date you saw it. Reports are kept confidential to the extent possible.
